PacDie is pleased to announce that Darian Busselman has accepted a new role as Inside Sales Manager at PacDie. Darian is a recent college graduate with a degree in business from Eastern Washington. She has over a year of industrial sales experience where she was responsible for building relationships with existing customers and securing new accounts. She was previously recognized for being instrumental in the company’s growth and instituting process that improved the customer’s experience. We are excited that she will be joining the PacDie Sales team and focusing her attention on improving the customer’s experience. She will initially be responsible for entering sales orders, quoting, and connecting with customers. She plans to enhance her role by streamlining key processes and improving the customer’s overall experience.

This month I had to say goodbye to a colleague, a friend, and PacDie’s Chief Financial Officer, Dave Clemons. It was a tremendous loss, a hit to PacDie, and it gave me a lot to reflect upon.

I met Dave back in 2011 in Kansas City. My company had decided to consolidate -- meaning close -- a manufacturing site we had acquired and that Dave had financial responsibility for. I was 30 and I knew everything. He was twice my age.

11 JUNE 2021 | VANCOUVER, WA. -- Shortly after graduating high school, Grant Owens enlisted with the US Navy and found himself working on a submarine from 2008 to 2013. After leaving the service, Grant wasn't quite ready for college, so he went to work in the North Dakota oil fields for a few years, but remained intrigued by the submarine he served on for five years.
